Writers:

As writers we write
Should we not write
For fear of offending.
Will they not someday
Make the same mistake

As writers we write
What muse would tell
You, put down your pen
And do not write again
Upon pages of white

As writers we write
Without you could
I have written this
Or should my muse
Also whisper no more

As writers we write
Tho none may read
Our pens care not
As words spill forth
Feeding our souls

Yup, care not a jot who reads or not! Didn't mean that to rhyme, but there's something about this here blogspot... :)

So very sorry to hear of your loss. No words, no rhymes can make that better, maybe not even time..

Best always

Someone's always bound to be offended. I hope you continue to feed your soul...

Thanks for writing n sharing. I write for me but sharing is a reward...
Our souls are fountains of gold
thoughts put into words
feeding all hearts
if only they will listen!
