Blood Hearts

My heart was filled
with haunting pain,
as you ripped at my soul

I ask you to understand
yet, from you no love
have I ever known

The pressure was great
within those veins
but you never knew

You’ve chilled this blood
that once ran hot
when I spoke your name

Yet with time
my heart won’t hurt
for ice now flows within

Tell me not, you don’t understand
for our hearts
are now the same

Russian roulette

The table at which you now sit
Is round with six chairs
We'll got five dumber people
To sit with you there

Now take a revolver
Add a bullet just one
You’ll put on the table
A large money sum

Put the revolver to your temple
Pray as your heart pounds
All they'll hear is a click
Now pass that revolver around

When only one of them is left
They’ll be as happy as can be
For all the blood covered money
Is there’s Tax free

Insanity of a Sane Man

As I walk in the shadows
Deep within my own mind
I hear voices screaming at me
Telling me what I’ve done
I thought none know, but they do
Is it their voices I hear screaming
In those dark crevices of time itself
Are any of these things even real
Or do I just wish they were
As they hold me in check with fear
Using God and man’s written laws
Laws binding me with ropes of shame
So I’ll only do their will, not my own
An yet I'll always hear those voices
Screaming at me in this silence
As I walk in the shadows
Deep within my own mind

Lost Words

My muse is dead
no words she whispers
no thoughts of time and space
not one heart beating with pain
loneliness and love
just puffs of fine smoke adrift…

My muse is dead
she left me
pen in hand
smudged lines on paper
yellowed with age
as if she knew all along

My muse is dead
others knew before me
eyes unopen
ears not hearing
their lips pursed to tell me
none did, no, not one
till I, too, was dead

Foot Prints:

I found no prints in the sand
Yet I once walked these shores.
I walked where no man has walked
And none shall ever walk again.

My steps were deep and wide
A sense of pride they showed.
Still I find, not one grain of sand
Over turned as if I was never born.

Once the suns warmth caressed me.
Now mother earth wraps her arms
around me in an embrace,  as I
sleep in her damp bosom forever.

Earth 2

Sitting here looking
out this port I see
A planet of dark brown
with an emerald sea

The air is a light green
with soft clouds on high
We has traveled so far
because Earth has died

We’re told we can breathe
the thin air down below
But we’ll turn purple from
things on this world it grows

All the fleets’ engines fire,
as the Great landing begins
The sky starts to glow,
God no, we’ve done it again

The sea is on fire, sister ships
turn flaming bright red
No more worlds will we destroy
for all man kind is now dead

Death Will Come

The clock ticks away
Our souls it desires
It awaits our death
Hour after lonely hour

Nothing stops its

Ghostly rounds
For at ones birth
Our souls it found

Our life is always

Just a tick or tock
For someday we
Will surely stop

Go Away

You tore my heart
From my chest and
Made me want to cry

You said you’d never leave me
And all I ever ask of you
Was to tell me goodbye

God Bless The U.S.A.

If you can’t get a birth certificate in Hawall or Montana or Thai
You can be the president and no one will dare ask why
You can borrow more money than the county will need
Then not pay any of it back so a war you will see

You can go anywhere on vacation for millions at a time
Then tell ones on Social Security, to stand in a welfare line
Get your insurance from them for dollars on the dime
And go see their witchdoctor because yours has resigned

He is telling all his brothers that are fighting overseas
To come here without visa’s they can sneak in free
He’ll take all the guns out of Americans hands
So they can turn all this county into Muslim land

Beyond starry skies:

I look back at this world from beyond starry skies
Past time itself, to see not one living thing
All of us gone, never to return
Man’s voice silenced by eternal winds
No marks did he leave upon this hallowed ground
To let others know he was even there
Still we thinks what we leave behind,
Will encase our souls forever as Gods
We look out there and see worlds of color rings
Spinning left and right with polar clouds of greens
We tell ourselves yes we could live there, and
Turn it to into another dying planet like the one
we now live upon and dream again of other worlds
