They:

They said our eyes are the windows to our souls.
They said the best years are when were old.
They said the sun always rises in the East.
They said big businesses are hungry beasts.
They said this love would only last a while.
They said the best way to deceive is to smile.
They said this job must be done by tonight.
They said and you can't go till it's done right.
They said a motor half its size will hold.
They said if it fails their not to be told.
They tell us this and then they tell us that.
They boss us around like a bunch of rats.
When I ask I am told they cannot say.
All I want to know was! Who are "they"?

All the way thru this I was also thinking "Who are they?"!!
It begins with philosophers n ends with the nasty boss!

The movie dvd "They" is about aliens manipulating lives for entertainment... (I have it)

Merry, Merry, Ho-Ho-Ho!
One more day to go!

I love this poem D49. It's me, Vodka. My work made me shut my site down because I was way too awesome, except the words they used were much much different. Anyhow, I'll be back. Miss ya.

Vodka:
Bad Bad old work place. How could they be so cruel?
But glad to see you again. Everyone is dropping like house flies.
Counting you I have lost 4 bloggers in 6 months. I was starting to think it was me.
Will be looking forward to you new blog.
Someday I’ll ask how they have so much power over your blog.

Walking upon wet sand
I saw prints before me
Alone and shallow
They walked between
cliff face and sea
no room for two
and I cried

Yes I know it was you.
Thanks for stopping bye.

Like I told Jingle I do not promote poetry groups. Sorry

Lynn:
