Deception:

Deception:

Why have we come to this point?
Have we not learned from the past?
Can we not see clearly for just one day?
Shall we never dream of tomorrows?
As we walk in a veil of deception,
we hear only what they tell us,
thinking only the thoughts we're given,
seeing only the things they show us,
being led to a point of nothingness,
with no will of our own. We follow!
Tho out numbering them ten-thousand
to one, we still do everything they say.
Our hearts being filled with good intentions,
yet our minds being void of thought.
We blunder on into the future unaware,
mouth shut, eyes closed.

You must be speaking of the Government officials making all the descisions... n apathy at feeling powerless -
I'm not truelly a follower- I quietly voice my discontent n continure to ponder what it wrong... n try to think of solutions.

(And I made you a button which is now in my sidebar.)

Jamie:
Hard to reply
If I go one way or the other
Myself on the back I’ll pat
So will a simple Thank You do

Talon:
LOL as long as you have known me, is wise on me a word that has ever been used?

Snaggle:
Again you understand. We normal have to take a great loss before we open our eyes and look around.

Tony:
Subversive it might be if eyes were opened.

Jannie:
Yes it is bad to close pur eyes cause pur rabbit would get into the thorns patch

Lynn:
Thanks, words are words it is the reader that makes them powerful.
