Trapped:

Trapped:

You will not
release me from
this book of death
where I wrote my
name in blood
to be in what
you call a family
you will not
give me life
but torture me
for eternity
till my soul is
blackened to
fine white dust

I will write you
into a book of life
and always be glad
for your poetic
comments on our blogs.

Next poem has to be a happy, happy, rainbows and kittens and puppies and unicorns dancing in a field of gold and silver glitter because these sad poems are killing me...okay?

And hang on - you might be trapped, but I'll wrestle that book away, wash out the blood (Tide works great) and set your soul free. Just give me a minute. I'm packing up the dogs right now.

Are you still feeling lost, as per your comment on my current post? Hope it was not my post that befuddled you?? I do get a little weird over there sometimes!! :)

Well, gotta go sift through some old pix and see what I might like next for a post idea directing you guys to where I'm guesting over at Lori, Jane Be Nimble's.

I loved those last few lines:
till my soul is
blackened to
fine white dust.
That there is a lot to ponder :)

Ellis, I do hope everything is okay. Your work seems to have taken a turn into the dark forest lately. If you don't mind, I will just send in a single beam of light to pierce the darkness and stir the shadows on the forest floor...

I was here last early am, but the thunder n lighting chased me in a hurry off line...

My take was you're never free from family- but I see you escaped from a poetry group- is that where all those poems on pics came from- were you the one who did those compositions of the artwork?

Thank you for trying to write me into the book of life but that is only between me and my God I'm told.

Talon:
Sweet and kind but with glitter no way. I could cut myself.
Will the two do that I sent you but that is foe not fold.

Elizabeth R:
A bit of an over kill those lines I must say yes. Still thanks for the kind words.

Jamie D:
That trap was a writing group I was in.

meredith:
Sweet meredith thank you for the beam. No dark things rest within my soul. They're just poems

Snaggle:
Watch out for that when you on the computer.
It was a writing group and all the things I post are my works. Unless I put “” around it and say who wrote it.
