Vagabonds:

cry not for them
cry for the ones lost
cry for those who
turn away not seeing
cry for my soul
for I saw not God’s hand
keeping my pence’s
only for myself

So beautifully said, Ellis.

Yes, it seems at times we expend a lot of energy crying for those who really don't deserve it.

Ellis,

Wow. These lines really puck a punch. "cry for those who
turn away not seeing"

This is so true to me about many of the horrible things that have happened in the world. We turn away, but God doesn't.

It's so nice that you are starting to write again:~)

Sometimes we have to see ourselves through the eyes of others.

Lynn:
A big thanks.

Talon:
So true and someday I hope to know who’s who.

Sara:
Yes cry for the blind that can see but don’t
It is a shame I have to write about the sad things.
Why do the words not flow for the nicer things in life?

Are you sitting on the street corner begging with a tin cup yet?

I've seen a few vagabonds making a living that way- Here the police boot them out, against the law to panhandle here- gotta go to Boston. There are alot in the subway.

No not yet living off retirement okay for now.
Keeping all my pence’s for me.
I keep forgetting the saying in the Bible (as you do unto the lowliest
you do unto me)

Ellis, don't stay away too long. We'll miss your fine verse while you take a much needed time off. My best.
